Maximum nitrogen efficiency with Intras N21 Nitrification Inhibited Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer
Intras N21 Nitrification Inhibited Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer is a new generation plant nutrition technology developed to prevent economic losses such as leaching, volatilization into gas form, and fixation, which are the biggest problems of nitrogen fertilizer use in modern agriculture. Approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Plant Production with registration number 2025TK11749, the product is manufactured in Turkey in full compliance with EC FERTILIZER criteria. The 21% Ammonium Nitrogen (N) in its formulation is one of the most qualified forms of nitrogen that can be directly and eagerly absorbed by the root structure of plants. When conventional Ammonium Sulfate fertilizers are applied to the soil, they are rapidly converted into nitrate form by soil bacteria, and this situation causes nitrogen to leach away from the root zone, especially in sloping lands that receive intensive irrigation or high rainfall. INTRAS technology steps in at this exact point, leaving nitrogen management entirely under the control of the producer.
Diciandiamide (DCD) inhibitor technology and nitrogen management
The most distinctive structural feature of the product is the Diciandiamide Inhibitor (DCD) technology it contains at 0.5% by weight. The DCD inhibitor temporarily slows down the conversion process of ammonium nitrogen into nitrate nitrogen (nitrification). This slowing effect ensures that the plant receives the nitrogen it needs during the growth and tillering stages gradually and in a balanced manner, without sudden fluctuations. This technology, which prevents nitrogen from volatilizing into the gas form in the soil or leaching into groundwater, supports an environmentally friendly agricultural model while optimizing the fertilization costs of the producer. When the plant has access to a continuous and balanced nitrogen source throughout the development season without entering stress, it completes its vegetative development perfectly and directly triggers cell division. This controlled feeding chain strengthens the root development in field and garden crops, allowing the stem structure to be more resistant.
Sustainable yield increase in agriculture with INTRAS N21
Offered to the market with its superior quality packaging design and 25 kg durable packaging structure with stitching allowance protection, INTRAS N21 directly increases the green part quality of the plant and maximizes the photosynthesis capacity. The sulfate components it contains along with the nitrogen in ammonium form accelerate protein synthesis in plants while helping to maintain the pH balance in the micro-climate of the soil. The slow and regular release of nitrogen in the plant nutrition discipline increases fruit set, minimizes drops, and ensures that the grains are fuller, larger, and more homogeneous during the harvest period. The high technological structure of the product offers an indispensable nutrition authority for professional producers who want to increase profitability in agriculture. INTRAS N21, applied by mixing into the soil with right timing and a disciplined application schedule, prevents the plant from suffering from nutrient hunger throughout the season, transforming the genetic yield potential of the land into the highest level of harvest amount.
Expert Agronomist Note: INTRAS N21 Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer remains in a useful form in the soil for a much longer period compared to conventional fertilizers thanks to the special DCD inhibitor it contains. In order to maintain its physical and chemical structure during the storage phase, the product must be preserved in dry and cool storage areas away from direct sunlight, at temperatures between -20°C and +60°C. As in all professional production processes, it is recommended to have a soil analysis performed on your land and to determine the application dosages under the control of an engineer in order to achieve the highest cost/yield balance.
